Required site settings

To use activity completion, the feature needs to be enabled for the site by an administrator as follows:

  1. In Settings > Site administration > Advanced features check the “Enable completion tracking“.
  2. In Settings> Site Administration>Advanced features check Enable conditional access.  This allows access to resources and activities to be based on date, grade and/or completion.
  3. Click the ‘Save changes’ button

Tip: The default Cron trigger for activity completion is every 10 minutes. Students and Teachers often think any course completion should instantly show up in a report.

Required course settings

Settings > Course administration > Student progress

You must select at least “Enabled, control via (course) completion and activity settings”.
